Some applications require mutiple operator interface points for the same control application. Other applications may require a single and yet complex interface. The selection of the interface can be critical both from a cost standpoint and the ease of future expandability.

Harsh environments either outdoors where sunlight may impede the ability to read the display system or environmental conditions, or Nema 4 and 4x applications; are not a problem with are skilled engineers.

The function of the interface must be clear and concise. Determine what type of input may be required by the operator, and what information the operator needs to be presented to the operator will ultiminatley determine the correct interface.
